The director general reviews the improvements in the schools (04/11/2016)

Accompanied by the mayor, Inmaculada Sánchez Roca, and other members of the municipal government team, María Dolores Valcárcel Jiménez, the director general of Centers of the Autonomous Community, visited four schools in the municipality this morning.

The round started at Nuestra Señora del Rosario College, where work has begun today to install an emergency exit in Hall A, which currently has a single escape route.

This is an old claim that will be true this month and which, according to Valcárcel's commitment, next year will add another: the renovation of the electrical installation of the center.

During his stay at the dean school of the municipality, Valcárcel thanked the management team for "the enormous effort made, in collaboration with the local and regional administration, to make the work of de-inflating and replacing the decks supposed the least possible inconvenience for the Students and their families. "

With that same reason, he later had brief meetings with the governing bodies of the schools Ricardo Campillo and Ramón Gaya, as well as of the Poeta Julián Andúgar Institute, centers that welcomed the students of the Rosary while the works lasted.

"We have all paddled in the same direction and the final result has been positive, we are very satisfied," he said.

School dining rooms

Before their tour of the educational centers, the general director, the mayor and the councilors of Education and Works and Services, Maria Jose Medina and Joaquín Rubio, respectively, held a working meeting in the Town Hall.

Among the issues addressed were the aforementioned renovation of the electrical installation of Nuestra Señora del Rosario College, as well as the concern generated by some cracks in this same center, built eighty years ago.

In addition, Valcárcel received the project made by the municipal technicians for the construction of two school canteens in the schools Ricardo Campillo in Santomera and Madre Esperanza in El Siscar.

"Even though it is not the responsibility of the City Council, we are ready to make the necessary economic effort to carry out the works, in case the Ministry of Education does not assume them," added Sánchez Roca.

The goal that has been marked by the municipal government team is that these dining rooms can open their doors next January.
