The mayor of Santomera, Inmaculada Sánchez Roca, has criticized this morning the attitude of the councilors of the two groups of the opposition, PP and Citizens, who last night left the ordinary Plenum of January before it concluded.
As he remarked, "they staged a lamentable scene of who does not understand the organs of democratic representation nor the rules of courtesy and education, something that do not deserve the neighbors of this municipality."
The incident occurred during the turn of requests and questions, while the councilors of the Government team, composed of PSOE and Alternative for Santomera, responded to a battery of eight issues previously registered by the PP.
After finishing answering the first ["With the greatest rigor and all the data," points out the first mayor], the popular spokesman, Victor Cerezo, insistently requested a turn of reply.
Although she clarified that it was not the moment to debate, but to clarify the doubts raised, the mayor agreed to grant that reply, but once answered all the questions.
That option did not please the popular councilors, who decided to get up and leave the room.
The Government team continued to answer for more than a quarter of an hour to the other questions previously presented by the PP and then came the turn of the Citizens spokesman.
In his brief speech, before leaving his seat, Jose Losa called the councilors of the PSOE and Alternativa "caciques" and "scoundrels".
"I think that tonight have seen two very different ways of being and being in this House and in this City: people who are to work and represent with education those who have voted, we like more or less what they tell us , And the people who are unable to have a minimum of respect, education and the desire to listen to the explanations themselves ask us.As a finale, the insults of Jose Losa.I think a totally lamentable attitude. Neighbors who accompany us and are watching us for the show they have given us, "said the mayor after the tense confrontation.
Approved three motions
Before the controversy, the plenary had given rise to the approval of the beginning of the file for the election of the next judge of Peace and of three motions presented by Alternative.
The first one, to combat the red weevil more effectively, was unanimously accepted, while the other two, in order to improve the adjudications of the City Council and to join the Network of Local Entities for Transparency and Citizen Participation, The support of PSOE and Alternative by Santomera.
