Santomera Mayor, José María Sánchez, wanted to emphasize today that "at no time, the City has used digital columns for electoral propaganda."
Sanchez has made these statements to the pubic information that the Board of Elections has admitted Murcia area on the complaint filed against the City to use city-owned digital columns for institutional propaganda.
According to the mayor, these columns display information to the citizens of the campaigns that are conducted by the City Council, job offers, training courses, payment schedules, social events and even show the actual temperature of the municipality.
"All these images are protected by the right of all residents of Santomera to receive local information," noted Sanchez.
Finally, the mayor, wanted to emphasize that Santomera City Council has lodged an appeal against the decision of the Board of Elections this by providing the viewing of digital columns or any other information required to avoid having to turn them off "position that is a complete information of interest to Santomera citizens, "concluded the mayor.
