Santomeranos thirty came on Saturday to Jumilla, a trip that was organized by the City of Santomera, through the Department of Youth, Sustainable Development, New Technologies, Communication and Celebration.
First visited the winery Viña Elena (Family Juan Pacheco), where they showed the 3 wells of three generations of the family, ie the 40, 70 and the present.
They learned about the vineyard and the grape varieties they have during a tour that is made by all the fine and the winemaking process ..., ending with a tasting of wines and a lunch with local products.
The participants then visited the Castillo de Jumilla, Old Town and Wine Miniferia, some saw the Archaeological Museum and other Jerónimo Molina Ethnographic Museum Jumilla.
Next appointment: Bullas
The second excursion is planned is to Bullas and will be held on Sunday 5 June.
Bullas visits to the winery will Balcona and includes guided tour of the farm, the winery and wine and cheese tasting, and the traditional Market 'The Zacatín'.
