Francisco Martínez, General Director of SANIDAD AGRÃCOLA ECONEX SL, signed on December 5 the agreement that links the company with the Santomera Veteranos football team.
ECONEX becomes the main sponsor of the set, consisting of 26 players over 35 years.
It was almost ten years since the municipality of Santomera did not have a similar team, which from now on will play their matches in the single group of the amateur category in the Veterans League of the Region of Murcia.
The training, which brings together athletes from different parts of the Autonomous Community (Santomera, El Raal, Molina, Fortuna, Cobatillas or Murcia, among others), is aware of the limitations that its short history can mean: "The team is new , it may cost you to adapt. Our goal is to compete with a good atmosphere, knowing that it is difficult to achieve important goals, but without discarding anything, "says Captain Mara.
The sponsorship agreement between the parties was formalized at ECONEX headquarters on December 5, in an appointment attended by the Director General of ECONEX, team captain, Mara, and coach Antonio Bernal.
This ECONEX participation is part of the Social Action and Sponsorship projects that the company develops through active collaborations, direct aids and support of sports, educational and cultural initiatives in its environment.
