IU says the regional government gives "unfair treatment" to the budgets Santomera (20/12/2010)

UI Santomera today accused the regional government of giving "unfair treatment" to the municipality in the budgets of the Autonomous Region for 2011, and has complained to allocate 200,000 euros to build a school, compared to 4.6 million euros to the Executive which undertook a year ago.

The coalition has considered "unacceptable" and criticized regional budgets that Santomera, which ranks among the twenty most populated areas of Murcia, next year receive one million euros, which puts him in the thirty-fifth instead of the 45 municipalities of the Murcia Region in relation to public spending.

For IU, the cut affects most to the building of an institute to solve the problems of school overcrowding Andugar Julian, and for which the regional government allocated 200,000 euros, and avoid the creation of a medical clinic in the village of The Sisco.

Asked the mayor of Santomera, José María Sánchez, give explanations to the neighbors about "the lack of commitment" and recalled that last October the mayor said maintaining "good relations" with the Executive Murcia and the institute would be completed at the beginning of next school year.
