II festival and pilgrimage of the Child and Rosario Huerta (09/02/2012)

The Cultural Association Friends of Music and Traditions of Santomera is preparing to celebrate and feast of the Infant Jesus de la Huerta and the Rosary with Mass, tasting a giant cake for 1000 rations and a pilgrimage.

The date will be next Sunday, February 12, 2012.

Music, religious songs, and aguilanderos huertanos, fill a celebration organized by the association to celebrate the feast of the Child.

The day began with a Mass enlivened by the Gang of Santomera, with songs of different styles: huertanos, bonuses and salves of auroros.

After the Mass will be taken to the church square of the baby Jesus Huerta del Rosario and carried by CHILDREN, and proceed to the release of doves, with the performance of the crew and reading a few verses a desire for peace.

Following the tasting of a GIANT CAKE for 1,000 rations offered by the prestigious confectionery santomerana "SERRANO MASTER BAKER."

Then the time came for the pilgrimage through the streets The Church, La Gloria, Acequia, Aurora Climent, Four Corners, to the house of Jesus in the garden.

With rain of flowers, songs, dances, and fireworks.

Then open a fellowship meal.

After dessert, the Association to appoint Honorary Members D.

Francis Pagan Jimenez, for his support in the creation of the Association as SOUTHEAST Radio for its informative work on knowledge of the traditions of our town.

Also harness the festive gathering to recover the tradition of the "Auction of tortada" Candlemas Day it disappeared in the 60's.

The funds will go to charity.
