The Guardia Civil in the Region of Murcia, in the context of the services of "Crime Prevention Plan Against Heritage", has developed a research aimed to eradicate the commission of such crimes, which has resulted in the arrest of Santomera three people.

As part of the Civil Guard police action has been clarified a dozen crimes in several locations in the region and has recovered many stolen in burglaries effects such as heavy machinery, tools, spare parts of motorcycles and mopeds, bicycles, appliances, electronics, furniture, household items and lots of clothes, after being brought to justice have been returned to their rightful owners, thus preventing their distribution on the illicit market in Morocco.

Santomera to detect the presence of a group of people who might be related to the commission of robberies began an investigation in order to observe the illegal activity of this criminal group.

This research allowed the agents unmask the identity of the members of this band and their mode of action.

Modus operandi

This group, composed of three persons of Moroccan origin, had established its base in Santomera and regional mobility.

Its objectives were varied, mainly properties like warehouses, shops (workshops) and housing.

At night and accessed using force subtracted buildings where machinery, tools, spare parts, bicycles, appliances, furniture, household items and clothing.

After committing the theft, the stolen effects were stored in a house in Santomera.

When you got enough objects were transferred to Morocco where they were finally introduced into the illicit market.

Once obtained all necessary evidence, the Civil Guard established several monitoring devices in order to detect and eradicate their upcoming criminal actions, which paid off to be located in Santomera, when began the transportation of a large number of effects stolen in a large van to Morocco, so they were retained and began checking the work load.

After confirming the existence of numerous effects removed was made the arrest and subsequent remand in custody, also seizing all purposes to locate stolen to their rightful owners and proceed to your return.

After making the relevant checks, officers were able to observe the effects stolen, machinery, tools, spare parts, bicycles, appliances, furniture, household items and clothing, reached a value of 150,000 euros, and had been stolen in different locations the region such as Murcia, Santomera Cotillas Towers, Ceuta, Fuente Alamo, Torre Pacheco.

Detainee

As part of this investigation the Civil Guard has proceeded to the arrest of three persons suspected of crimes of burglary and receiving, identified as:

- Moroccan, 47, who lives in Santomera.

- Moroccan, 45, who lives in Teruel.

- Moroccan, 33, suffers in Santomera.

One detainee has a history of committing similar crimes.

Effects retrieved:

At the time of the arrests were recovered stolen lot of effects, including:

Heavy machinery.

Tools.

Spare parts for motorcycles and mopeds.

Bicycles.

Appliances.

Electronics.

Furniture, household items and lots of clothes.

The detainees, recovered and proceedings initiated effects have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 2 of Murcia (Murcia).

With these arrests, the Guardia Civil have managed to clarify Santomera much of the crime of theft in the manufacturing sector, which occurred in the last dates in the Region of Murcia, who had been a matter of public concern in sectors such as agriculture , construction and mechanical.
