The Governing Council today approved the renewal of two agreements proposed by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Planning, with the City of Santomera and the College of Psychologists in the Region of Murcia.
The first of these decrees regulating the direct concession of a $ 22,000 grant to the City of Santomera to finance the Group of Civil Protection of Broadcasting and Coordination Support.
The Civil Protection Group is involved in those emergencies where considered necessary the creation of a forward command post and its role is to manage and facilitate communications between emergency services that meet the head of the post and Coordination Centre Emergency Murcia, for it has trained personnel and adequate material resources (tent, generator, radio, computers, antennas ...).
Also, Murcia Executive has authorized the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning to renew an agreement with the Association of Psychologists in the Region of Murcia to keep this group of Psychological Intervention in Disasters and Emergencies, for what will a grant of 25,240 euros.
The professionals who comprise the Group of Psychological Intervention in Disasters and Emergencies are responsible for treating victims and families in particularly serious cases that need specialized psychological support.
