Two tribes in the region of Chaco, Paraguay, enjoy santomerana (10/10/2008)

Children of indigenous ethnic groups and Ayoreos Sanapana located in the Chaco region in Paraguay, enjoy the solidarity of the residents of Santomera thanks to the 400 toys collected through the Christmas project "Radio Solidaria", designed by the council Youth, Radio West and the Association of Future Sharing Aid, based in the town santomerano.

UNESCO toys sent from the Region of Murcia last March on board a container containing some 25,000 kilos of solidarity from various associations and institutions of the Autonomous Community, Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue Services; finally 27 and July 30 reached their destination, the ethnic groups and Ayoyeros Sanapana respectively.

"A long wait was worth it just to see their faces full of hope" notes the mayor of Youth, Victor Manuel Martinez, who also said that "this year, Radio Solidarity raise money and food to Nicaragua"; country selected for the second edition of this charity project, home to a renowned Santomera born missionary, Father Abilio Muñoz House.
