The City Council is committed to optimizing Santomera effective local police and Civil Protection in the municipality, for it has initiated a project to expand the premises of the police, who will tell with 256 square meters, allowing the integration of a Command and Control Terminal 112.

This morning has started this project not only expanded the size of the headquarters also will restructure its distribution, on behalf of a customer service area larger, accompanied by a meeting room and a storage annexes, on the other hand, the effective Local Police will have new male and female changing rooms.

"We intend to optimize all the resources that provide care to the citizens of Santomera, the Sisco and La Matanza in case of emergency," says the mayor, José María Sánchez, in relation to a project that will provide with 75 additional square feet, the dimensions of police headquarters currently set at 151 square meters.

This expansion project completed during the next two weeks, with the addition of a Command and Control Terminal-TMC 112 - in the new police units to improve coverage to the citizens, through better coordination not only between the Police Local and Civil Protection, also with the Guardia Civil, Firefighters and Red Cross.
