Santomera participate this and the next course in the School Library Program designed by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment which has as main objective to operate the libraries of schools in the region as a loan service and consulting books , making a classroom studies for students and teachers.

Ricardo Campillo The school is the only five in the municipality that currently holds open the doors of the library school hours Monday through Thursday from las16 up to 18 hours, thanks to the cooperation of the AMPAS and staff teacher.

Councillor for Education and Culture, Civic Maribel, has been advanced that "the results with students of the Ramon Gaya was used to assess the level of acceptance of the program and its possible application to other schools in Santomera, La Matanza and Sisco" .
