The City Council has extended Santomera municipal ordinance regulating the sale and supply of liquor in the municipality, in order to increase penalties for establishments that dispense these beverages among adolescents and children, killing the pair: weekend leisure equal to alcohol.
From now on the ordinance will have a new article-16.1, which punishes with 1,800 euros to those establishments that despite the lack of license to engage in the sale of alcoholic beverages in addition to sanctioning the same amount to being in possession a license to do so just after 22 hours of the night.
The extension of the ordinance occurs because of the Minors and Alcohol Campaign designed by the session santomerano in collaboration with the local police, which has started with a raid information for the sectors involved: schools, social service establishments and thereupon pass action with the increase in police checks in entertainment and usual points of sale of alcohol in the municipality.
