The PP claims that the PSOE Santomera "give the interests of the municipality" (28/04/2009)

"We can not explain how a consensus decision by all political groups in 2006 and established two outlets in the future Yecla-San Javier motorway, three years later can be put in doubt"

"The only way out is the division into two Santomera and genuinely undermines the environment for the districts of Villa Murcia, Monte Halloween and Barrio de la Inmaculada"

Note from PP:

The Municipal People's Party Santomera wishes to express its surprise at the uproar caused by the opposition to the filing of a motion critical to the future of the Municipality of Santomera.

For the PP, is incomprehensible how a consensus decision and agreed by all groups in 2006 is capable of generating a flurry of similar magnitude.

What we proposed was simply to keep that decision that ensured our prosperity and welfare municipality without causing damage to our citizens. "

This decision taken by the Ministry of Development has enormous damage to Santomera therefore ask for your removal and return to the original layout.

Faced with a decision of this magnitude, we can not put the interests of the municipal party as this sentence Santomera and divides it into two, as well as being a true environmental attack against three quarters of Santomera Villa Murcia, Monte Halloween and neighborhood of the Immaculate.

Santomera not support this change of route as well as significantly increase traffic mentioned in Abanilla Road, a road that already has one of the highest rates of movement of vehicles.

Through this motion we hope that the Minister reconsider and return to the path originally traced and agreed by all stakeholders and politicians of our town.

The motion of yesterday is the first step that we undertake, we expect shares to the addition of the PSOE, as with this decision we are staking the future of our town.

Popular Group announces the call for an extraordinary plenary session for Thursday, May 7, which discuss and ask again the Ministry of Development around the original project.

This fully expect that it is a unanimous decision that permits the return and sign the above agreement.
